About the project. We are an indie team creating the card game “FoxWorld” with its own universe, storyline, and visual identity. It’s not just a set of mechanics – we are building a world that players will immerse themselves in through images, characters, and story. We are already 7 people and are now looking for a 2D artist who wants not just to complete tasks but to become a co‑author of the project and influence how it looks and is perceived by players. Important for those seeking stable work: we are at an early stage and do not offer a fixed salary. We are looking for someone interested in participating in creating a product from scratch, gaining a case for their portfolio, making new connections, and with the possibility to become part of the core team to keep making great games. We have planned future financial motivation: 1) profit share up to 5% (the size of the share depends on contribution to the project and area of responsibility); 2) format – option model. Tasks: Illustrations for game cards (key visual element of the project) Character development: from concepts to final art Creating narrative illustrations (scenes, events, narrative moments) World visualization: environments, atmosphere, locations Establishing and developing a unified artistic style Requirements: Experience in 2D illustration or GameDev Strong portfolio with characters and/or illustrations Understanding of composition, lighting, color, and visual storytelling Ability to work with references and hit the style Independence and responsibility Will be a plus: Experience with card games Experience in small teams or startups Conditions: Remote work Flexible schedule. You can combine it with a main job or studies.
